Ahhh guys, you can not imagine!

I thought today was the worst day ever! I mean it started pretty well.. but then when I refilled my water bottle.. I did not close  the lid  completely.. so it started dripping - OH SHOOT!
I put everything back in place.. also Jennifer's tuning bag with all her tools in it.. right under it.. where it was dripping :o
But I didn't know that it was dripping.
So I left for school because I was running late.
The school day went pretty normal. I came home and Jennifer told me that I almost ruined her tools. I felt so so so so bad. Luckily it just got little stuff wet .. stuff which could just dry out.. but I almost ruined her pocket PC (the pretty much most important thing you need as a piano tuner because it has the tuning software on it) and that nice thing costs about a $1000 - AWESOME. If I would have ruined this one.. then I would be really in trouble. But I DIDN'T!!!! Ahhhh *relief*
But that is not the end of that crazy day. Jennifer asked me if I can fold the laundry.. I said No, because I came home 4:45 - needed to shower, pack my lunch and do homework so I was ready for youth group when we (Corrine and I)were supposed to leave around 6 pm ..Naja.. I felt bad that I said "No" to folding the laundry so I took such a fast shower , took the laundry upstairs and folded everything.. I felt better and Jennifer didn't need to do it.
When I was done with that I got ready for church & and packed my lunch for the next day. Everything so fast.. but then when I was ready Corrine wasn't there in time.. hmm. I called her .. again and again.. 10 minutes later she is calling me and telling me that her grandma is in the hospital (which is 30  minutes away). I was so shocked and asked if everything is okay. She said Yes.. Now it is. She is on the way to church and a friend of her was supposed to pick me up. Okay everything went a little crazy. 5 minutes later she texts me that I should stand outside because she is gonna come and pick me up. What ?!?! I was so confused. 2 minutes later she was there. She drove so fast to pick me up . hihi cute.
When we were at the church I met all the sweathearts (Selina, Lizzy, Lisa,... ) They are all so nice girls! Love them! By the way thanks that I have you girls !
After church Corrine and I had so much traffic when we were driving home :( But then OUR song was on - "Talk Dirty - Jason Derulo" we were dancing so crazy on the red traffic light :D And next to us was the car with some other girls of the youth group and we opened the windows and talked, danced whatever - we had sooooo much fun :) :D
1 minute later - red traffic light. AGAIN .. but we still had fun because our song was on ! We were dancing and I am sure it looked really awkward :D Then Corrine stopped and I look at her and ask "What's wrong?" and she looks at me and just points her finger to the car next to us. I was soooooo shocked. Next to us was such a cute boy in the car & he was watching us - THE WHOLE TIME!!! Oh my gooooodness. We were so so so so embarrassed - at least for 10 sec. then we danced more. We just thought.. We don't care :D
10 sec later we were looking to the guys car again & he waved and started dancing like us- maybe a little/a lot more crazy then us :D Oh my gosh we laughed sooo hard :D It was amazing.
Sadly we never saw him again..
When I came home I had so much energy. I could work out for an hour - easily ..
I told Jennifer and Andrew my story what just happend and they laughed. Andrew looks at me and said: Hey do you want Coldstone? (Coldstone is an ice cream parlor where you can get the best ice cream ever)  I looked how late it is 9:15 pm.. and I answered " ehm. sure :) " (maybe you should now I LOOOOOVE Coldstone!!!)
So we went to Coldstone I had the absolut delicious chocolate brownie mix thing were I can't remember the name right now ..
That was so pretty much my crazy day. It started pretty bad but it had an awesome ending!

groundhogs candlemas day & super bowl :)

Hey guys !

I am so sorry that I didn't write in my blog for a looooong time! But no worries, I am still alive after all the snow storms we got ;)

Yeah , so last weekend was the huuuuuge SUPER BOWL here in the States. But I heard that it also was pretty big in Germany ;)
Most Americans are going to a Super Bowl party. Really cool , they have 6 feet long subs and so, really cool. So Jennifer & Andrew decided to take me to a Super Bowl party. We went to Jennifer's friend Sarah. She has kids so we could come with Alex & Eli. We ate something & then Andrew went upstairs to watch the game with Eli. Jennifer finally had time to talk to her friend & I watched Alex :) Oh wow, that house was so big & Alex soo wild, we were almost running all the time :D

So Jennifer told me that all the men are going to a seperate room and watch the game and the women are in a diffrent room and watch the kids and the commercials. She said that this pretty much is how it goes.
The commercials for the Super Bowl are sooo expensive - 30 sec. 4 million? Isn't that crazy?

Probably 3 weeks before the Super Bowl Jennifer told me that America celebrates groundhog day. And this year groundhog day and the Super Bowl fell on the same day. The groundhog day is a very old tradition of the Americans. Short - If the groundhog comes out of his den and he sees his shadow then he is scared and he goes back to his hole for 6 more weeks . If he doesn't see his shadow than the spring is here.

I have so much to write. Don't think it is boring here .. Sorry but I just never find time..

It is so different to celebrate Christmas without any snow and then on the 25.. hmm it's diffrent but I like it. So my Host mom decided that everybody gets one little present at the evening of the 24th. Hihi. just a small thing - I got German honey which is really cute of her because she knows I Love honey :) ..
ehm something else..  I'm going to tell you a little story that just Jennifer's family does.
Okay, so Santa comes on Chirstmas Eve to look if you are sleeping, so he can deliver the presents under the tree & fill the stockings. But if you're not sleeping in bed when he looks, then he leaves new, fluffy, cozy pajamas to fall asleep quickly.
Hahaha, so Jennifer gave me Mickey Mouse pajamas.. like a whole body pajama.. :D
The story of it is.. that my little host brother wears all the time the whole body pajamas.. & I said one time to her that I really liked the pajama.. it should be very handy..& I said I want one too. :D So Saaaaaanta gave me one to Christmas-surprise :D

Normally every shop is closed on Christmas Day.. normally.. but here the movie theaters are open.. So you have in the morning breakfast, presents, lunch and then you go to a movie .. because some really good movies are coming out on Christmas Day. Crazy world.

Wow.. Christmas over, lots of awesome presents and then I'm driving to Cleveland again on the 26. I'm excited.

(On Christmas Eve we watched "It's a Wonderful Life" - awesome movie!!
In the movie from 1945 the taxi driver and the police men have the name of Bert & Ernie from Sesame Street. .. just by the way.. that's where the names are from. :))

Wednesday night we drove to a house with so many lights I never saw so many  in my live.
The house is across the street from the church we're going to . (Fairhaven Church ;) )
Yea.. the lights coordinate with the music frim their own radio station. It's amazing. I took a video , so you can see it. I hope you like it. Enjoy!

My first Thanksgiving 11-27-2013

Hey guys, I'm sorry that I am writing so late. I was very busy.

First I'm going to tell you about Thanksgiving...hmmmm, so yummy. You know that you eat a lot on Thanksgiving but do you know the story about Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving started when a group of pilgrims came to America from England. They weren't allowed to practice their religion freely, so they landed at Plymouth Rock, Massachussetts. The Pilgrims tried to build a new settlement but their crops and plants weren't growing and they didn't know how to fish. The Pilgrims started to starve and they considered going back to England. Then, a Native American named Squanto met the Pilgrims and he taught them how to grow crops and fish. The Pilgrims were very thankful to Squanto and they celebreated by having a large feast with other Native Americans. The Pilgrims were showing how they thankful they were to Squanto and his tribe. This is why the Americans create every year their big dinner.. which represents being thankful for the people in their lives and others to come. :)

I'm thankful for my family who supports me, and have always my back. They might be far away now, but I think of them all the time. They love me how I am and I really appreciate it. Thank you to my sister, Anni, brother Felix & to the best mom ever!

I'm thankful to have the best friends ever! I wouldn't be the person who I am without them. They listen to my problems and I listen to theirs. They're doing the craziest things with me . They bring me to laugh when I'm in the mood to cry. They're always on my side. Thank You to Julia, Johanna, Karl & Alex!

I'm thankful to have such a lovely host family who welcomed me warmly. They are involving me as an family member and giving me a huge experience to be here. Thank You to Jennifer & Andrew, and my little host brothers, Elijah & Alex.

A little post from the last night - theater downtown Dayton

Hey guys:)

Last night I went with Jennifer to her tuning. Her tuning was in downtown Dayton in the old theater.
It was pretty late.. we were there around 8:30pm.
Yeah.. we were there and guess what ! The light guys (I really don't know their name :D) were sooooo friendly. Only these guys , Jennifer & me. It was so cool. The one guy showed me all the stuff from the theater, I was standing on stage having fun, going around the theater, moving the curtains  (OH MY GOSH SO HEAVY!) . That was really cool . I enjoyed that evening & it was really fun :)
Thanks to Jennifer that she took me to her tuning & these friendly guys.

My Fallbreak in Cleveland

Hey Ho Sweeties!

How are you? I am great! I have a wonderful time here! Now we have fall break and I spent some of my time in Cleveland with my host mom's dad / host grandpa. I am here from Sunday 10/20/13 to 10/23/13. So only a short but a wonderful trip! ;)
Sunday came Jennifer's dad, Ken, to Miamisburg to pick me up. At 11:00 am we drove to Columbus to pick his girlfriend Karen up. She visited her grand son! 3 1/2 years old - such a cute boy! Evan (name of the little child) had a soccer game & Karen was very proud of him. So we watched the game and then we drove to Cleveland!
Monday, October 21st
Today was my brothers birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVELY BROTHER! I LOVE AND MISS YOU! ENJOY YOU'RE DAY!

I woke up at 8:00am in the morning, taked my shower & got ready for the day. Today was the biker tour day!:D

We drove around the parks in cleveland and then to an apple farm who has the best apple fritters  ever!  hmmmmmmm , so delicious!
From that we drove to the morman tempel & they're "city" in Kirtland. They have like a litte town there how it looks like in the 1830s!
(The morman religion were born in Cleveland in the 1830s.)


From there we drove to his little caban ( Pierpont )  in the mid of the forest, like camping. really cool.
& from there to the Harley Davidson store were I bought a little heart as a souvenir and in the back is "USA-PAPA 10-21-13 ingraved"
After the little junction we drove home!
We drove about 150 MILES!!!!!!!!! Hahaha now you calculate the km!!!:D

Dinner in Paninnis & then shopping :) uhh. Now I am a poor person :D

Tuesday, October 22

Wow , what a good day!! The first place we visited was the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame! *-* it was so cool ! Amazing how much stuff is in there & what you can see. The original guitars from Jonny Cash & Elvis, Outfits from every big star ! so amazing!

After we finished our tour in the museum we drove to the Hard Rock Cafe! LUNCH TIME!

After we ate and completly filled up we left the restaurant. We walked through the Terminal Tower. (mall) I saw the soldier & sailor monument which was built as a memorial on the Civil War (1861-1865 North vs. South ; the North wanted that the slaves came free - the South not)
Unfortunately I have no pictures.. because my SD card was full! & I haven't a second one.


Back in the car we drove through Cleveland. I saw the Rockefeller Park, Cleveland Clinic (Did you know that in Cleveland Clinic they were the first hospital to make a heart transplant world wide ), Art museum, Natural History museum, Botanical garden, Cleveland university, Lake Erie, terminal tower (Rock hall , hard rock cafe). Also , I only saw it from the outside, because we hadn't enough time to see everything from the inside!;) But I will come back & then I will see all this stuff from the inside!

Wednesday October 23

The day we drove home!  After the long ride Jennifer was waiting with fresh baked Apple Pie ! Om nom nom nom !! :) I will pilfer the recipe!!! ;D

Oh my goodness! I'm so amazed!

Hey guys!
I'm going to tell you something really cool!!!!
Last sunday Jennifer and I went to Ikea , we were so in stress that we had no lunch & we were storving!!!
So we taked a stop at "Tako Bell" - Drive-thru. We said what we want & then we went to the window to pay for it & then . Boom , You have nothing to pay the person in front of you payed for you! & I was like WHATTTT??? A stranger pays our stuff we wanted. We thought about to spent 16 Dollars & the person in front of us payed everything ?? without a reason! I was amazed!!
Jennifer gave the nice person behind the window $5 for the person behind us.. & so on.:)

It was such a exciting day - You can not imagine! It was not only Homecoming day it was also Andrews birthday!

Hey ihr Suessen!

Ich weiss es ist eeeeeewig her das ihr was von mir gehoert habt!:( I'm so so so so so so so sorry!!!!
Ich bin die ganze Zeit mit neuem Zeug beschaeftigt, ob es meine kleinen host brothers oder Schule oder Freunde sind.. all the time something diffrent..

Das ist jetzt zwar schon ganz schoen lange her , aber ich dachte das interessiert euch trotzdem. Two days after my birthday Jennifer had a piano tuning and Andrew and I watched the childrens. We thought about to do something in this time when Jennifer is gone. So Andrew hatte den Vorschlag in den Petting Zoo zu gehen. & Ich war davon ganz begeistert und Alex auch :)
Da der Petting Zoo in der Naehe von Jennifer's Tuning war sind wir alle zusammen gefahren, haben Jennifer bei dem Tuning abgeliefert & wir sind zum Petting Zoo gefahren!:)

Uhh, das war lustig, jedes Tier streicheln als ob es dein Haustier ist.^.^
& damit ihr auch seht das ich auch ganz mutig war ( ;))!!! ) hab ich ein paar Bilder fuer euch!:)
